Callaway Recreational Complex

The Callaway Recreational Complex is an eighty-acre park that first opened in March of 2000. It is home to the Callaway Arts and Conference Center and Leisure Services Department offices. The center is also currently home to the Callaway Dixie Youth Baseball League, Callaway Girls Soft Ball League, Callaway Rebels Football and Cheerleaders, Callaway Youth Soccer League, and Panama City Kicked Back Adult Soccer.

Some of the successful events that are held here are our annual Children’s Fishing Rodeo, and baseball, softball and soccer tournaments.

Park amenities include: 

  •  One-mile clay walking trail with eight fitness stations
  •  Three baseball / softball fields
  •  Two concession stands
  •  Two full-size soccer fields
  •  Two playgrounds
  •  Two youth baseball field
  • Five-acre stocked children’s fishing pond 
  • One football field
  • Pavilion with picnic tables, lighting, and electric outlets
  • Three public restroom areas
  • Two t-ball fields
  • Two U-10 soccer fields
  • Two U-6 soccer fields
