Callaway Recreational Complex

The Callaway Recreational Complex is an eighty-acre park that first opened in March of 2000. It is home to the Callaway Arts and Conference Center and Leisure Services Department offices. The center is also currently home to the Callaway Youth Baseball League, Callaway Girls Soft Ball League, and Callaway Youth Soccer League.

Some of the successful events that are held here are:

  • Baseball, Softball and Soccer Tournaments.
  • Opening Day for Soccer.
  • Opening Day for Baseball & Softball.
  • Children's Fishing Rodeo - Saturday of Father's Day Weekend.
  • July 4th Celebration.
  • Callaway Cares Health Fair in August.
  • Annual Christmas in Callaway on Second Friday in December.
  • High School Cross Country 5k Runs.
Park amenities include: 

  •  Seven baseball / softball fields
  •  Two concession stands
  •  Two playgrounds
  • Five-acre stocked children’s fishing pond 
  • Four public restroom areas
  • One football field
  • One-mile clay walking trail with eight fitness stations
  • Retired Fighter Jet - F-101 Voo Doo Static Aircraft Display
  • Seven pavilions with picnic tables, lighting, and electric outlets
  • Ten or more youth soccer field layouts
  • Three full-size soccer fields
