What is my flood zone?: You can refer to the Flood Zone Map to identify which flood zone your property is located within. The map will not show you where any structures are located upon your property, however.
For insurance purposes you will need to obtain a survey or a Flood Elevation Certificate from a licensed surveyor. For further information please call the Planning Department at (850) 871-4672.

Planning

1. What zone am I in?: You can identify your parcel on the City's Zoning Map to find out what zone your property is in. You can then refer to Section 15.500 of the Land Development Regulations to obtain details such as the allowable uses and setbacks.

3. I am considering putting a shed on my property, do I need a permit?: If you are considering putting a shed on your property, you may need an Accessory Structure Permit depending on the size of the structure. If the structure is larger than 10 feet by 10 feet you will need to complete an Accessory Structure Application, which should be submitted to the Planning Department along with a site plan / sketch of the property showing dimensions and where the shed will be located.
