Our Leisure Services Department maintains all the parks, the Callaway Arts and Conference Center (CACC), Community Center, cemetery, 1.5 miles of landscaped medians, and the grounds of our City Hall, Public Safety Building, Public Works Building, museum, and old schoolhouse.

We're also responsible for scheduling all the leagues activities, special events that the city holds, and the rental of the sports fields, pavilions, and Callaway Arts and Conference Center.

Growth
Effective training is key to equipping our staff to handle the multiple tasks needed to keep our year-round facilities in top condition. As the City of Callaway, Florida, has grown over the past seven years, the department has expanded recreational opportunities and experienced increased use by all segments of our community. 

Also, the department's staff has grown from five to 10. Training strategies have been continually adapted to incorporate cross training to give the department the flexibility to meet challenges.
