What is an inoperative or unregistered vehicle, and why are they considered to be a violation of the City Code?
The City Nuisance Ordinance describes an inoperative or unregistered vehicle as a vehicle that does not have current registration and/or a vehicle that is not in running condition or has parts missing. This includes boats, trucks, cars, and recreational vehicles.

Unsheltered storage for a period of 30 days or more of automobiles not in good and safe operating condition is prohibited. Inoperative vehicles may detract from a neighborhood's appearance and can invite an undesirable element into your community.
